Letter from the Founders

The Adult Sickle Cell Day Infusion Center at Johns Hopkins was established with the goal of offering alternative care that would improve the timely relief from pain and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions. The Day Infusion has successfully reduced the time to achieve pain relief, increased the number of patients who are discharged home as opposed to being hospitalized, and lessened the use of the Emergency Room. Open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 410-614-0683 for more information.
