March 7 2009- 5th Annual Scholarship to be awarded at the Women of Color Banquet.
May 9th 2009 - "Help Stop the Pain" Sickle Cell Awareness Walk.
Stanton Community Center to the Governor's mansion. 8:30am registration at 92 West Washington Street Annapolis.
2 mile walk to support the continuum of care for Sickle Cell patients. $10.00 Registration fee online or at the Door.
Donations will also be accepted at the time of the event. Paricipants will be able to donate blood,
get screened for Sickle Cell trait, and join the Bone Marrow registry.
